Rotary Moulding Machines used for Biscuit Manufacture create dough leakage at the Biscuit extraction point. This good product known as ‘tails’ is scraped from the extraction web and normally collected in trays or tubs as low level.
Biscuit production is normally a 24 hour process 6 days a week and this unused dough has to be moved manually from below the moulding machine in small trays, sometimes at a rate of 300 Kg/hr.
The Vibratory Reclaim System performs four duties; Collection, Elevating, Return and Spreading.
Collection The fully mobile collection feeder speedily conveys the ‘tails’ from below the moulding machine, with no spillage.
Elevating The ‘tails’ are elevated briskly to the appropriate height to enable re-entry.
Return The horizontal return conveyor wastes no time or product, delivering the feed to the re-entry point.
Spreading The most important task of all. The feeder ensures an even return across the main dough feed.
